GMA Network Inc. has officially announced that Marian Rivera is the new Darna, the popular Pinay superhero created by Mars Ravelo. The news was a surprise to Marian Rivera.
Marian Rivera is the second actress that portrays two Pinoy comics character, Darna and Dyesebel. The first was the Star for All Season, Ms. Vilma Santos.
There's no definite schedule yet for the taping of Darna and for its TV release. The Kapuso Network has not name any actor yet as Marian's leading man for Darna.
